The main reason is that the surface hardness of the coated steel plate for home appliances is poor, and the pencil hardness is usually only HB, which is not suitable for the elevator environment.
Second, the coated panels for household appliances are usually very thin, most of which are around 0.4~0.5_, and the existing coated steel plate production lines in the market can basically only produce substrate thicknesses within 1.0mm, which cannot be used in the elevator industry for the strength of steel plates. The third is that the color of the coated steel plate for household appliances is not completely suitable for the characteristics of the elevator industry, and it needs to be designed according to the characteristics of the elevator industry. Therefore, in the elevator industry, there is no precedent for the use of coated steel sheets.
