Introduction to welding performance of TPO/PVC waterproof membrane

TPO/PVC waterproofing membrane has excellent welding performance. Hot air welding or hot wedge welding technology is usually used to achieve high-strength seamless bonding of the membrane joints. During the welding process, the materials melt and combine at a specific temperature to form a continuous and dense overall sealing layer. The weld strength can reach more than 80% of the parent material, effectively preventing leakage. After construction, the quality of the weld can be verified by air tightness testing.
