1. First of all, what is lamination?
The surface color of the metal composite wall is to paste the decorative sheet to the surface of the board through glue, commonly known as the lamination process. The lamination process is mainly divided according to the raw material of the glue, not the difference between hot and cold compresses, plus a few hot air guns, as the marketing company said.
2. Different lamination process – cold glue process
Cold glue process: about 40,000 lamination equipment is used, and the glue used is several thousand yuan per ton. It is liquid and has a pungent glue smell. The worker manually poured the glue into the rolling groove, then rolled the decorative sheet, and attached it to the surface of the board. The glue solvent contains a lot of chemical components, not to mention formaldehyde.
3. Different lamination process – hot glue process
Hot-melt adhesive process: about 150,000-200,000 lamination equipment, and the imported PUR hot-melt adhesives used are generally German Henkel or Jiaowang brand, 40,000-50,000 yuan per ton. The PUR hot melt adhesive itself is solid, and needs to be heated by the equipment and transported to the extrusion port to the decorative sheet through the conduit. It does not contain any solvent itself.
