The color-coated sheet is a product made by subjecting the strip steel that has been continuously degreased on the production line through chemical transfer processing such as phosphating, and then baking the strip steel coated with organic paint at high temperature. There are two kinds of packaging methods for color-coated boards. Let’s take a look.
1. Horizontal packaging
This is the conventional default factory packaging, iron sheet packaging, lined with moisture-proof paper, the inner diameter of the roll is 508/610mm, and some customers have special requirements to add iron sleeves to prevent the roll from collapsing. This is also possible, but different factories have different price increases. Additional charges apply.
2. Vertical packaging
Vertical packaging is relatively new and has advantages: vertical packaging is more convenient and firmer during transportation, effectively avoids collapse, and ensures that the color-coated board is delivered to customers without any scratches. Of course, there is an additional cost, as vertical packing can be more troublesome than horizontal packing when loading and unloading the vehicle. With the improvement of customers’ requirements for product quality, more and more customers choose vertical delivery.
