Mastering scientific installation and maintenance methods can effectively extend the service life of color steel plates for more than 10 years, which not only reduces the cost of plant use, but also maintains a good corporate image. Specifically, it should start from the following four aspects:
1. During the processing and installation of color steel plates, if damage to the coating is found (when it is not rusted), it should be repaired and maintained in time. When repairing the paint, you can brush or spray the repair paint of the same color steel coil, and pay attention to the matching of the repair paint to prevent rust and corrosion caused by damage to the coating. After installation, use a dry cloth or other soft tools to clean up the iron filings attached to the surface of the color steel plate caused by the cutting saw and electric drill in time to prevent floating rust.
2. Roof color steel plate, it is recommended that users check and maintain it once a year. Iron filings, copper filings, industrial dust, metal particles, accumulated water, etc. stay on the roof tiles for a long time, which will easily accelerate the corrosion of the coating. If any are found during inspection, the user should organize cleaning, cleaning and removal in time. If the coating is found to have rust spots, it needs to be sanded and repainted. Before repainting, all sanding powder and rust spots must be removed. Apply anti-rust primer in a clean and dry state, and then apply a certain thickness of special repair topcoat for steel coils.
3. In order to prevent the corrosion of the roof from staying for a long time, the user can maintain the roof color steel plate by cleaning. Seaside and industrial pollution areas, the maintenance period should be shortened. Use cleaning method to maintain, do not use decontamination powder or industrial detergent (will damage the coating), use household detergent to determine after a small area experiment.
4. After the color steel plate is used for a certain period of time, due to factors such as sunlight, rain, oxidation, etc., the coating will inevitably deteriorate such as chalking. To maintain the longevity of the building structure, touch-up and recoating maintenance is a good choice. The best time for recoating is when the chalked surface of the color-coated board turns gray. Recoating and repairing should be carried out in a dry period with less moisture as far as possible.
