What is Metal Wall Decorative Panel?
The essence of metal decorative panel is also called metal decorative panel, which refers to a novel interior decoration material compounded with metal as the surface material. A decorative layer formed on the surface. The decorative layer can directly reflect the decorative effect of the building, make full use of natural or artificial materials to express the designer’s decorative design style, and play a better role in covering and protecting the wall.
Metal decorative plate is mainly used in building decoration, it can not only decorate the outer surface of the building, but also play a role in protecting the veneer from the erosion of rain and snow.
What kind of metal can be used to make wall panels?
In fact, common metals can be used in architectural decoration, such as gold, silver, steel, copper, iron, aluminum and their alloys. Steel and aluminum alloys are widely used, because these two materials are relatively more cost-effective. Two of the metal materials are introduced below.
1. Steel plate
Steel plates can be divided into stainless steel plates, color-coated steel plates, and profiled steel plates for construction.
Stainless steel for architectural decoration is mainly Crl8Ni8, 0Crl7Ti and 1Crl7Mn2Ti, etc. Stainless steel has a wide range of applications and can be used for ceilings, doors and windows, stairs, furniture partitions, sanitary ware, decorative accessories and so on. However, its cost is relatively high, and it is not suitable for large-scale use.
Color-coated steel plate is a new type of building material, which is divided into three types: organic coating, inorganic coating and composite coating. The most widely used is organic coating. This kind of steel plate has strong weather resistance and is usually processed into exterior wall panels, roof panels, corrugated panels, series of furniture and car shells, etc., with strong plasticity and convenient installation.
Profiled steel plates for construction refer to thin steel plates that have undergone processes such as rolling and cold bending. It is widely used in building roofs, suspended ceilings and internal and external ribs.
2. Aluminum plate
Aluminum plates are divided into pure aluminum plates and aluminum alloy plates. Pure aluminum plates have low hardness and poor compression resistance, so they are not used a lot.
Aluminum alloy is light in weight and strong in plasticity, and is usually used in door and window handrails, shelf counters, suspended ceilings and other scenes. However, its compression resistance is poorer than that of steel plates, so it is not suitable for load-bearing building locations.
